50th Anniversary of the world’s longest fish ladder
The Whitehorse fish ladder was built by Yukon Energy to ensure that the company wasn’t stopping Yukon River salmon from returning to their spawning grounds each year. MAP Communications produced a documentary about the creation of the fishway, which is the longest fish ladder in the world, and the interpretive center that goes along with it.
